Left Mystic Jitney in Cape Coral and flew home to enjoy the holidays at home in New York with family and friends.  Our return to Florida was delayed because Alan's dad was hospitalized in Saratoga Springs, NY.  We left NY on January 10th and drove our Jeep to Cape Coral.   Arrived at the boat late Tuesday night on the 11th.  On Thursday night we received a call from family in NY that Alan's dad had taken a turn .  So we flew back to Saratoga on Saturday.  Spent the rest of January helping to care for Alan's dad in the hospital and finally got him home to his house on the Hudson River on Wednesday the 19th.  On Friday the 21st his dad peacefully passed away with all of us at his side.  You just never know what life has in store for you but we feel blessed that we were able to be there and be a part of his dad's final days.  We returned to the boat on Monday, January 31.  Spent the week cleaning up and working on projects.  Tomorrow we leave the dock for some cruising in the Naples, Marco Island area.  We sure are looking forward to getting back out on the water.
