FIRST ANNUAL

BBQ, BIRTHDAY, BENEFIT FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS

On Sunday, August 27, 2006 we hosted our first annual "BBQ, BIRTHDAY, BENEFIT" for Cystic Fibrosis.  In celebrating Alan's birthday we invited family and friends for a  down home BBQ complete with slow cooked ribs, chicken, sausage, hot dogs, homemade pies and much more.  We asked guests to make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in our granddaughter, Sydney's honor.  Despite the rain everyone  had a great time and we raised over $1200.  Next year we're planning an even bigger event.  Thanks to all for making the day such a big success!
